The seabirds that are likely to be seen by the interested observer vary somewhat from place to place as one moves around the country. The birds listed here are those most likely to be seen in those areas where offshore boat trips are usually available. Those birds listed in bold are residents and are those generally encountered. The others are either seasonal visitors or are present only during their breeding season.
