This sizeable stream of beautiful
crystal-clear water gushes out from underneath a lava flow.
Ohinepango Springs are located about 15 minutes before reaching
the junction with the Whakapapa-Desert Road track and the Waihohonu
Hut (from the south). It is only a few minutes return from the
main track, and not 30 minutes as indicated on the track.
