Mangawhero Falls (here left) is located only a couple of minutes off Turoa Road and makes a pleasant detour for trampers engaged on this road section of the circuit.
Waitonga Falls (right) are 45 minutes walk from Turoa Road, on the way to Mangaehuehu Hut. At 63 m (206') high they are by far the highest of the two.
